OLYMPIA, WA (MyBellinghamNow.com) – A popular brand of chips has issued a recall in Washington.
Frito-Lay recalled over 6,000 bags of Lay’s Classic Potato Chips this week that may contain undeclared milk. The affected bags are 13 oz. and have a “Guaranteed Fresh” date reading Feb. 11, 2025.
The company says those bags were distributed to certain retail stores and online distributers in Washington and Oregon. The bags were available for sale as early as Nov. 3, 2024.
No allergic reactions have been reported yet. Anyone with a milk allergy or severe sensitivity to it is being advised to throw away any recalled bags.
“Those with an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk run the risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume the recalled product,” the company said in a statement.
